No-Bake Cakes and Desserts
7 recipes
Desserts that don’t need an oven: cakes and sweets are assembled from ready-made cookies and mascarpone, or set with gelatin in the fridge. The easiest place to start is the “Broken Glass” cake — colorful jelly in a milk base — or a classic tiramisu with savoiardi and mascarpone.

No-bake cakes
A tiramisu cake is layered from coffee-soaked savoiardi and mascarpone cream. “Broken Glass” is pieces of multicolored jelly set in milk jelly. For the Japanese matcha crepe cake, thin crepes are cooked in a pan and layered with mascarpone and condensed milk cream.
Jellies and other sweets
Blancmange is a delicate almond jelly, cherry jelly is made from fresh or frozen berries, and Snickers salad combines apples, whipped cream and chopped candy bars.
